Who You Hang Around With Matters in Business

Last week, I was in Spain.

I flew into Girona to play golf at Camiral Golf Course - future home of the 2031 Ryder Cup.

An amazing course. But the real value wasn’t the golf.

It was spending time with other business owners.

Different industries. Different businesses. Same mindset.

When you get around ambitious people, something happens.

You get ideas you wouldn’t have had on your own.

You get confidence from hearing “we struggled with that too.”

You get clarity.

You think bigger.

Running an independent business can be brilliant… but it can also be a bit like playing golf with no caddy, no scorecard, and hoping you’re aiming at the right flag.

Who you hang around with matters.
