A couple of weeks ago, I found myself as a finalist at the National Entrepreneur Awards.
The category was ‘Best Marketing Campaign’.
Sadly, we were runners-up, but did get to meet the host, Vernon Kay.
The campaign that got me there wasn’t some grand strategy.
It was a simple idea that I had.
But I acted fast.
No endless planning, no second-guessing.
I saw an opportunity.
And I moved quickly.
The result? It brought tens of thousands of pounds into the business.
That same mindset showed up again this week in the Retail Success Club.
One member was looking for a quick win.
We bounced around a few ideas, and within 48 hours, they acted.
They picked one of the ideas.
They adapted it.
And got it live.
That’s what makes the difference.
Not waiting for the perfect plan.
No dwelling on the decision.
They took action and got it done.
If you’re sitting on an idea, a gut feeling or a spark, then don’t overthink it.
Act on it.
Quickly.
Success doesn’t come from waiting; it comes from doing.
So this week, why not get doing?
Have a great week,
Mark
