Self-Development

Are You Investing In Yourself?

April 21, 20241 min read

I’ve always been fascinated in self-development.

I’d contest that there is a direct correlation between a person’s success and the way they nurture their self-development.

I caught a clip of the late, great Jim Rohn last week, and he backed this theory up.

In the clip, Jim told his audience that if you want to succeed in anything, you need to start by working on yourself first.

One of the joys of working with other business owners like yourself, is to witness their personal growth.

As well as becoming a better business owner, you become more confident.

More self-assured.

More accurate in your thinking.

You grow and your business grows.

Of course, building a successful business requires action, not just thoughts.

But by applying deep thought to the actions you need, is what leads to real success.

If you want your business to grow, then you must grow first.

Why not make a lifelong commitment to self-development?

All the great entrepreneurs I’ve been fortunate to have met and worked with, have shared this common trait.

By consuming content that allows you to grow and by mixing with communities of successful like-minded individuals, your success will be as good as guaranteed.

Have a great week.

PS: If you’re looking for a place to begin, the book ‘The Gap and the Gain’ by Dan Sullivan with Dr Benjamin Hardy would be a great place to start!
