Here’s your next Tip of the Week, and while it’s not about displays or pricing, it’s one of the most important retail lessons I’ve learned.
Many of the biggest improvements in my retail businesses didn’t come from working harder, adding hours, or chasing the next tactic.
They came from better thinking.
In retail, it’s easy to get trapped inside your own four walls.
You see the same problems, make the same decisions, and solve challenges using the same habits, because that’s what feels normal.
But normal doesn’t always mean effective.
One of the most powerful things a retailer can do is regularly expose their thinking to other viewpoints.
People who question assumptions.
Challenge comfort zones.
And help you see options you’ve stopped noticing.
Here’s your tip for this week:
Ask yourself one simple question:
“Where am I borrowing better thinking from right now?”
Because in retail, perspective is often the difference between feeling stuck and finding momentum.
Sometimes progress doesn’t come from doing more.
It comes from seeing differently.
Have a great week,
Mark
