You probably know I’m a huge football fan.
And, as the Premier League season heads toward its finale, I’ve been thinking a lot about momentum – not just in football, but in business too.
In sport, momentum can flip a game on its head.
One moment a team is on the back foot – then they win a corner, get a penalty out of nowhere, or score against the run of play… and suddenly, the tide turns.
The whole energy changes.
The team that looked down and out suddenly has their tails up.
You can feel it – the shift is instant and electric.
And it’s no different in business.
Momentum is real. And it matters.
The big secret?
You can craft it.
It’s about doing the small things that can turn the game.
Making the call.
Launching the offer.
Fixing the stock issue.
Following up.
Posting the video.
Pushing forward, rhythmically.
All of these are the equivalent of grabbing that “penalty out of nowhere”.
Because once you’ve got momentum, incredible things can happen.
Progress feels easier.
Energy flows.
Results come faster.
And your business? It starts to fly.
So if you’ve been feeling like you’re chasing the game a bit recently, don’t worry.
All it takes is one or two good plays to turn things around.
Momentum’s just waiting for you to take the shot.
Have a great week.
