It’s been a terrific sporting week.

Six nations Rugby, Carabao Cup and FA Cup action in the football and later today, across the Atlantic, Superbowl LIX.

I love to look to sport for inspiration in running my business.

I highly recommend it.

You need to motivate yourself and your team.

You need to analyse the challenges.

You need to set your goals and your targets.

All of the above influences your weekly outcome.

There may be weeks where your preparation is perfect, but the outcome isn’t.

Most top sports teams suffer results against the run of play.

But during the course of a championship, preparation pays.

When you play the long game, it’s all of the above that stacks the outcome in your favour.

No coincidence that top teams win.

The teams with the best players.

The best coaches.

The best back-room teams.

And the best leaders in the owner’s box.

And you get to choose.

You get to choose your attitude.

Your team.
