Last year, I bought a Peloton bike.
For me, keeping fit and healthy is a big part of staying sharp in business.
A few weeks ago, I found myself clipped in at the Peloton London studio.
Face-to-face with instructor Bradley Rose, music blasting, cameras rolling, and no chance of distraction.
This wasn’t my usual at-home ride.
This was live.
And I was locked in.
No phone.
No email.
No 'quick distractions'.
Just full-on presence, in the moment, with one goal - to give it my all.
The result?
My best performance ever on a Peloton ride.
My highest place on the Peloton leaderboard.
A shiny new PR (personal record).
And a great moment afterwards, telling Bradley he’d helped me smash it.
The takeaway?
When you’re fully focused - no distractions, no multi-tasking - you unlock another level.
It feels easier (even when it’s hard).
It feels lighter.
And it works.
So this week, whatever you're working on –
Shut the door.
Silence the phone.
Get in the zone.
That's how you get shit done.
Have a great week.
